Investment partnerships aren't always about capital. You may bring money, experience, professional skills, deal sourcing, property knowledge, business expertise, a network or other valuable resources. Mella uses this information to help identify potentially compatible partners.

Yes. Mella allows members to share investment opportunities and connect with other investors who may be interested. Always carry out your own due diligence and seek independent professional advice before committing any money.

No. Mella is an introduction and networking platform. We do not provide financial, legal or tax advice, recommend investments or arrange investments. You are responsible for carrying out your own due diligence and obtaining independent professional advice.

No. Mella does not hold or transfer investment funds between members.

Yes. Mella starts with local connections, but you can expand your search from nearby investors to nationwide depending on what you're looking for.

Build your investor profile, then browse investors near you in Discover. Each profile shows a compatibility score. Tap Connect on people you'd like to talk to — when they connect back it's a match and you can message each other.

We compare your profile with each investor across the things that matter when choosing an investment partner — investment type and interests, available capital and investment range, experience, goals, risk appetite, timeframe, location, and what you each bring and are looking for. Each factor is weighted and combined into a single percentage, with a plain-English summary of why you match. If either of you hasn't answered a question it's left out, so it never counts against you.

Other Mella members can see your investor profile, photo, first name, approximate distance and general area. Your exact location, email address and phone number are never shown. You can hide yourself from Discover in Settings → Privacy.

To keep Mella free of unsolicited messages, you can only message investors you've matched with — meaning you've both tapped Connect.

Open the conversation or their profile, tap the menu (•••) and choose Unmatch. The conversation will close for both of you.

Open their profile or your conversation, tap the menu (•••) and choose Report or Block. You can also report an investment opportunity from the opportunity itself. Reports are reviewed by our team as quickly as possible and may result in content being removed, or accounts being restricted, suspended or permanently banned. Blocking hides you from each other immediately.

Never send money directly to someone you have only met through Mella. Meet in a public place first and check credentials. Before transferring any money, carry out appropriate due diligence, use appropriate legal agreements and seek independent professional advice; use established, secure payment or escrow arrangements where appropriate. Be cautious of anyone promising guaranteed returns or pressuring you to act quickly.

Go to Profile → Get verified and upload a photo of your passport, driving licence or national ID plus a selfie. Verification submissions are normally reviewed within 48 hours. Verified members receive a badge showing their identity has been checked. Your documents are stored securely and never shown to other members.

Premium includes unlimited connection requests, seeing who's interested in you, advanced filters, the full compatibility breakdown and priority placement in Discover. Mella is free to join, and the free plan includes your investor profile, discovering compatible investors, compatibility scores, 20 connection requests a day, chat with your matches and discovering investment opportunities.

On iPhone, open your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mella Connect. On Android or the web, go to Settings → Subscription → Manage billing in Mella. You can cancel any time and you'll keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.

Go to Settings → Delete account in the app, or visit mella.okao.site/account/delete. This permanently deletes your profile, matches and messages. If you subscribe through the App Store, also cancel the subscription in your device settings.
